Summer Vacation Announced for Degree Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir
Good news for students and faculty in the Degree Colleges of Jammu and Kashmir! The government has officially announced the summer vacations, with a slight modification to the previously issued order.
According to the latest Government Order No: 290-JK (HE) of 2025, dated June 23, 2025, the summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges within the Kashmir Division and Jammu Division will now be observed from June 24, 2025, to July 3, 2025.
This revises the earlier schedule, which had set the vacation period from July 15, 2025, to July 24, 2025. Students and staff are advised to take note of this updated timeline for their vacation plans.
The order, issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, aims to provide a much-needed break during the summer months. Wishing everyone a refreshing and enjoyable summer vacation!
